Today I tackled two catch all junk drawers in my house. These were quick to do. We didn’t get home tonight until late because of having to get a new refrigerator that the Lord provided us through some dear friends. But I am determined to finish strong with downsizing my home. As you can see in the picture below that these two drawers catch all for everything. These drawers are located as you walk up stairs to the bedrooms so things get stuffed in them all the time.
I placed a garbage can beside me and threw away anything that I didn’t need. I also made a stack of stuff for the yard sale. Nothing came out of the drawers that I could put on Craigslist or eBay. Here is the finished product. I could go down to one drawer but decided to keep the candy separate along with the chap stick.
I took all of the business cards that was in the drawer and put them with the others that Gregg is collecting (will tackle this later), the tools I took back out to the garage where they are suppose to be and the pile of pens was added to my growing collection. I can’t wait to see through all this downsizing how many pens I collect and can get rid of.

I know these two days have been small projects but they are areas that holds a lot of items. I look forward to the weekend to where we can tackle a BIG project. Don’t forget to share with us if you are downsizing your home too!!!!
