Enjoying the Georgia Fall with family

P1020261I am in Georgia to have time with my family. I enjoy the Georgia mountains in the fall. The colorful Fort Mountain and the Dug Gap mountain frame in the town of Dalton and Chatsworth where my family live. The smell of fall is always there with the excitement of football always being talked about. I love coming into myP1020275 parent’s home and knowing I will find my mother in the kitchen and my father in the living room and smelling the smells of my mom’s cooking.  It brings such comfort to just be there with them.  I spent the evening sitting on the front porch enjoying my family and hearing my neices sing songs and performing.  It was great! The next day,  I got to spend the day with two of my older sisters, my mom and great nephew in Ellijay picking up apples and cider.  It was a great time.  My little nephew was great and fun.  But as you can see in the picture below, he was worn out.   Then enjoy time with my mother-in-law and father-in-law and family as  I heard Georgia football conversations happening and a game of  pictionary being played at the P1020277kitchen table. (in which the boys won) The fall is my favorite time to visit. It brings back great memories. While I enjoyed my family, Gregg got to taste real Georgia fall by getting to go to the Georgia / LSU game on the Georgia campus. He is got to tail gate with a bunch of crazy guys that are die hard bulldog fans and enjoying the game . (even if Georgia lost)
