Movies have got so expensive to go to. BUT movie makers are getting smarter about marketing their movies. They see that word of mouth is a great marketing tool. So, they are taking advantage of pre-screening to get people in to see the movie for free with hopes of them going out and talking about how good it was. Now if we can just get FREE popcorn and coke while watching the movie, it would be awesome.
