Welcome to A Thrifty Geek. I am so glad you dropped by. I am married to my middle school sweetheart and a mom to 2 wonderful college age children. Our family has been in full time ministry for the past 13 years and we have learned how to Live Life Abundantly on a Shoestring Budget.
I have always tried to be honest with our children about our resources and that we are not overflowing with monetary wealth but above that I have strived to show them that you can still enjoy life to the fullest and not be financially wealthy.
Many things that my children remember is not what we bought but how we enjoyed what we did get to buy. Not having two or three game systems but having one and getting it at the best deal we could to be able to have multiple games to play on it.
Come along with me as I share with you ways that you too can Live Life Abundantly on a Shoestring Budget and not feel guilty or stressed about not keeping up with the “Jones”.
