20 years ago today the Lord blessed us for the second time with a beautiful healthy baby. From the moment I held him in my arms I prayed that the Lord would give me wisdom on how to raise him and also I prayed the Lord’s hand would be on him. I am so thankful the Lord answered my prayers for the past 20 years and will continue to do so.
I look back over the years and see how it was God that was in control. The Lord blessed us with a son that is tender hearted and caring. I see his tenderness for others and his passion to serve others and I am so thankful.
My prayer for my son today is the same as it has been for a while. I pray that the Lord will guide and direct him and no matter what career he chooses it will be one that’s primary purpose is to glorify Christ. Happiness doesn’t come from status or money but from worshiping the Lord and sharing the love of Christ with others.
