When disaster hits sometimes we just don’t know what to do and if you are like me I am always skeptical on if I send money will it get to the needy.  Our family has known and participated in Samaritan’s Purse for many years.  The most common thing that you might know about Samaritan’s purse is the Operation Shoebox but that is just a division of what Samaritans Purse does.

We have dear friends that volunteer full time now for Samaritan’s Purse and they go where needed all through out the United States.  They have been in Alaska and a couple of the southern states in the last 3 months helping with restoration and revitalization.

If you want to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy and you can’t physically go help, I HIGHLY suggest giving through Samaritan’s Purse.  I TRUST completely that funds will get into the community by sending workers and resources to help the victims.

This is a dark time in many people’s lives on the East Coast and Samaritan’s Purse will go in and help and also bring light to the darkness by sharing the Love of Christ while meeting their physical need.
