This past Saturday we were awakened by a call at 3:45 a.m. while we were on vacation from our dear friends telling us that their daughter entered heaven. It was a sudden and tragic event. Our hearts were broken. We were on the road by 4:30 a.m. to drive to be with them.
Over the past several days, we have walked through this time with our friends and over and over I have been reminded of the saving grace that Christ did for us on the cross and how he washes our sins away through His blood that He shed on the cross and that 3 days later He arose from the grave , conquered death and went to prepare a place in heaven for His church. Tracey is now there with Him seeing and praising our Lord Jesus Christ.
Over the past 4 months or so, Tracey had the urgency in her life to share the love of Christ with her friends and family. She had made Christ savior in her life and she wanted to share that with others. Little did we know in just a few months God was going to take her home. Lives have been changed, people’s thoughts of eternity have been challenged and the field is ready to be harvested from all the seeds Tracey’s testimony has planted. Even through death, Christ is being glorified through her testimony.
Our prayer is that we are a rock for the family to lean on and that we continue to minister to the friends and family that Tracey was trying to reach. Thank you Jesus for the time you gave us Tracey and thank you for protecting her even through her death.
