This has been the week to buy textbooks for both of my college kids. We have a senior in college and asophomore in college. I am so excited to say the booklist for the senior was not bad at all. But the book list for the soft more made up for it. When we got the list we looked at what each book cost if we bought them at the camus bookstore. YIKS!!! Almost $500. So off we went hunting down the best prices on the web. We had success. Here is what we did.
Rent Textbooks! . We have rented 6 of the 7 textbooks. None of them are ones that he wanted to keep in his personal library. We got one book that was $160 to purchase for only $32 rental.
The great thing about Chegg is that they ship fast and you only pay shipping for one way. Chegg includes a return label when they mail it to you. This is the third semester we have used them and the savinG has been amazing.
Another site that we have used often is Neebo. It is another. Rental place but the have other stuff too. . There is free shipping on their books.
We ended up paying $240 for all of my sophomores books and right under $100 for my seniors books. I am so relieved that it was not right at $600 that we originally saw at the school bookstores. Whew!!!
